Located off the iconic Caves Road, a visit to Clairault Streicker begins with a trip down the long winding driveway through the native forest and farmland. Marri and jarrah trees tower over the secluded venue, with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and luscious gardens.

The Streicker family established Clairault Streicker in 2012 and became the caretakers of four diverse vineyards spread throughout the Margaret River region all featuring a range of classic Margaret River varietals. The oldest vineyard, the Clairault Vineyard, was established in 1976 by the Lewis family and is one of the first in the region.

The wines at Clairault Streicker are authentic and classically styled. Each year, fruit parcels from any of the four vineyards contribute to the Clairault range which heroes Margaret River styles. There are nine wines currently within the Clairault range with seven wines within the team’s Streicker range, crafted from a single vineyard block and embracing the growing conditions, personalities, and varietal characteristics of the chosen site. Between the two ranges, the offering remains diverse and dependable year after year.

With a range of tasting experiences, you can sit down for a bespoke guided tasting or taste at your own pace with a sample flight. To complement your wine tasting experience, stay and enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the vines, luscious greens and native bushland. The food is seasonal and modern, served in a casual style and made with ingredients sourced from producers local to the venue.

If that doesn’t take your fancy, you can find private spot between the vines and relax with a ‘vineyard picnic’, a picnic blanket and basket packed with a selection of dishes from the seasonal menu as well as salads, fresh sourdough bread and cheese and crackers.

For an even more unique experience, blend and bottle your own wine. The knowledgeable team will guide you through the wine blending process to help create your own estate-grown Margaret River wine. 2017 Streicker Bridgeland Block Syrah

A spicy entry of red fruits and meat spice, balanced with bright tannins and flavours of plum blossom and cracked allspice. A velure finish of fine tannin, hints of rose water and freshly ground coffee leaves the palate awash in minerality and succulent natural acidity.

A coating entry of red and black fruits, boysenberries and licks of black cherry. A focused arsenal of slender tannin and bristling flavours of graphite and mulberries culminates in a persistent finish laced with violets and currants.

Generous and poised, an ensemble of fresh stone fruits, apricot acidity and ultrafine lines of porcelain white fruit tannin. A mineral battery of quenching pumice, dew and sea-spray on the finish.

2022 Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A crisp entry of lemongrass and lychee, laced with hints of mango and yellow peach. A bright acid line guides the palate to a finish of subtle French Oak spice, untoasted cashews and yet more fresh white fruits and florals.
