McHenry Hohnen Winery is proud to announce that their new venue will be up and running by late next year. The goal is to elevate the experience for their visitors beyond their current pop-up cellar door, and to provide further opportunity for growth in Witchcliffe. “The tavern licence recently granted by WA’s Department of Liquor and Gaming was the most suitable way to transfer the winery’s existing cellar door and open up to the possibility of showcasing many of the region’s finest wines, as well as some craft beers,” winery founder Murray McHenry says.

This will give the winery’s team the opportunity to showcase their wines alongside their neighbour’s wines and the best of the world’s rest. The Witchcliffe Wine Bar (working name) aims to offer a relaxed and expansive tasting experience. Customers can slow down, take their time and treat themselves a bit with wine, spirits and craft beers alongside small meals and bites from the kitchen. An open fire will warm you in the winter, while you can bask in the rays of the afternoon sun in the warmer months.
