The team at Plantagenet Wines are thrilled to announce the new opportunity to take a guided wine journey with chief winemaker Mike Garland or owner Tom Wisdom in the private tasting room at Plantagenet Wines’ rustic Cellar Door. Plantagenet Wines’ historic site is brimming with personality, with their rustic mudbrick and timber cellar door at the very heart of the Mount Barker township and the heart of the Great Southern wine region.

The intriguing and educational tasting affords you the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge of how the climate, the vineyards, the ancient lands, viticulture and winemaking practices come together to create the traditional wine styles produced at the historic vineyard. The Wyjup Collection is highly sought after for aged-wine enthusiasts and offers another historic and luxurious touch to a wine tasting experience.

Available each Thursday by appointment between 12:00pm and 2:00pm, the illuminating tasting experience includes a gourmet tasting platter for one and a complimentary cooler bag to hold two bottles of wine of your choice following your tasting on the day. After your winemaker-guided tasting of the Plantagenet Wines luxury Wyjup Collection you’ll also receive 10% off any wines purchased on the day.
