Redgum Wine Estate
Located on the outskirts of Dwellingup, Redgum Wine Estate is a stunning vineyard nestled on a stunning plot of land along the edge of the Darling Escarpment. Surrounded by the tranquil Marrinup State Forest, it offers breathtaking views of the Dawesville estuary and the Indian Ocean beyond. Designed in a charming rural French style, the winery exudes a cosy yet chic atmosphere, complete with a fireplace for winter warmth. Guests can choose between an indoor dining area and an alfresco undercover space, both boasting spectacular views of the dam and valley. The culinary offerings are simple yet elegant, perfectly complementing the fine wine experience. An intimate wine tasting room invites visitors to sample the impressive range of wines, presented by the owners, Maree and Ben, who share their passion and expertise. This unique destination combines beautiful surroundings, delightful food and exceptional wines, creating a memorable experience for all who visit.
The estate benefits from a unique microclimate and well-drained gravelly soil, resulting in a range of evenly matured, exceptional premium wines that are crafted for your enjoyment. Originally established as a winery in 1997, the estate was purchased and renamed Redgum Wine Estate in January 2019, with the first wines produced in 2021. Covering 3.5-hectares under vine, the estate produces four white wines, three reds and one rosé each year, specialising in fine, handpicked and well-balanced selections. Recently, Redgum Wine Estate was recognised as a finalist in the Pell Business Awards for Food and Beverage Industry Innovation, with the winner to be announced soon. Visitors can explore a charming gift shop filled with unique finds, including honey sourced from the 150 hives maintained on-site. Wines can be purchased both on-site and online, with an exciting wine membership club launching soon – stay tuned for updates!
