Something For Everyone
Prepare to indulge in your senses at Rockcliffe Winery, where a delightful experience awaits every palette and preference. Originally an apple orchard, the vines at Rockcliffe Winery were first planted in 1990. Fast forward seventeen years, owner, Dr Steve Hall, built a “state of the art winery,” on the property, making this estate one of the biggest in the region. Surrounded by the beautiful, luscious forest, the winery’s cellar door offers a serene retreat, where visitors can unwind and soak up the stunning views of Denmark’s natural landscape.
At Rockcliffe there is something for everyone, ranging from delicious food to affordable accommodation. The cellar door offers Artisan Brewing on tap, presenting a diverse range of Belgian-style beers that feature complex, yeast-forward flavours of fruit and spice – the perfect accompaniment for their gourmet pizzas. Guests can enjoy artisanal homemade fudge and traditional-style gelato made with locally sourced ingredients, alongside delicious cheese and meat platters, and hand-cut fries. These meals are all made with love and are sure to be popular with the kids!
The winery also hosts a series of live music events over December and January, creating a lively atmosphere for guests to immerse themselves in. The perfect night out, guests can sit amongst the vines on the lawn to enjoy the music, whilst feasting on Rockcliffe Wine, Artisan Beer, food trucks and desserts. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic. For guests looking to extend their visit, Rockcliffe Winery offers free tastings of up to thirty wines – almost the whole range! Travelers can stay on-site for up to three nights via Hipcamp, with access to a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, forests, and beautiful Rockcliffe property.
